About BACKON & remote support

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

What is BACKON?

BACKON is an independent third-party remote technology-support service operated by NV Venture in India. We help home users and small businesses troubleshoot eligible computer, Windows, printer, Wi-Fi, email, software and everyday technology problems. BACKON is not a device manufacturer, internet provider, bank or government service. Learn more about BACKON.

Who can use BACKON remote tech support?

BACKON is designed for home users, seniors and less-technical users, sole traders, home offices, professional practices, family businesses and small teams that need practical technical help. The service is not positioned as enterprise infrastructure management. See small-business support.

Is BACKON an official Microsoft, HP, Dell, Apple, Canon, Epson or other manufacturer support service?

No. BACKON is independent third-party technology support. References to Microsoft, Windows, Outlook, Microsoft 365, HP, Dell, Canon, Epson and other brands are used only to identify products or compatibility unless a different relationship is expressly stated. For warranty, account ownership or manufacturer-only matters, use the official provider. Read our independence disclosure.

Where is BACKON based?

BACKON is operated by NV Venture from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. We disclose that location because customers should know who is providing remote access or technical support. A telephone number used for customer convenience does not create or imply a physical office in another country. See business identity details.

Does BACKON support customers in the United States and Canada?

The United States and Canada are intended remote-service markets for BACKON, subject to availability, issue suitability, payment availability and applicable requirements. Because the work is remote, the location of the customer usually matters less than whether the problem can be safely diagnosed or resolved online. See remote tech support.

Does BACKON also support customers in Australia?

Australia is also an intended remote-service market, subject to availability, issue suitability and applicable requirements. BACKON does not claim a physical Australian office unless one is specifically published. Support is provided remotely from India. Why support is delivered from India.

Is BACKON support completely remote?

BACKON's core service is remote support. That means we work through the customer's computer, operating system, software, network settings or connected devices when the problem is suitable for online troubleshooting. We do not pretend that every issue can be fixed remotely. Physical damage and hardware replacement usually need local service. What can be fixed remotely?

When is remote computer support not the right choice?

Remote support is not the right choice for cracked screens, liquid damage, failed power supplies, physically damaged ports, many hard-drive failures, damaged cables, hardware replacement, some ISP outages and other problems that need hands-on inspection. We should tell you when a manufacturer, ISP, repair shop or specialist is the better next step. See when remote support is not right.

Is the business behind BACKON GST registered and IEC compliant for cross-border business?

BACKON is operated by NV Venture, which is GST-registered in India. NV Venture has completed its Importer Exporter Code (IEC) registration process with DGFT for applicable cross-border business activities. The applicable DGFT record governs formal IEC verification. Verify BACKON’s business identity.

Computer & Windows help

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Can BACKON help if my computer is running very slowly?

Yes, many slow-computer problems can be investigated remotely. Common causes include too many startup applications, low free storage, pending updates, heavy background processes, browser extensions, security software conflicts or aging hardware. Remote troubleshooting can help isolate the cause before unnecessary software or hardware is purchased. Read the slow-computer guide.

Can you help if my computer keeps freezing or becoming unresponsive?

Often. We can help review whether freezing is associated with a particular application, Windows process, update, storage problem, driver or resource shortage. Repeated freezing can also indicate hardware failure, so remote troubleshooting may be used to narrow the cause rather than promise a software-only fix. Computer freezing guide.

Can BACKON troubleshoot Windows startup problems?

Yes, many startup problems can be worked through remotely once the computer can reach Windows or a usable recovery environment. Slow boot, excessive startup programs, stuck sign-in, update loops and some configuration problems may be suitable. A machine that will not power on at all usually needs physical service. Windows startup help.

Can you help with Windows Update problems?

Yes. BACKON can help with common Windows Update failures, repeated retries, update errors, stalled downloads and post-update configuration problems where remote troubleshooting is appropriate. We do not represent ourselves as Microsoft, and account, licensing or warranty matters may need Microsoft's official support. Windows Update troubleshooting.

Can you help when a browser is not working or websites will not load?

Yes. Browser crashes, blank pages, slow loading, extension conflicts, profile problems, cache issues, DNS problems and security settings can often be reviewed remotely. If only one website is down, the problem may be with that website rather than your computer. Browser troubleshooting guide.

Can BACKON install or set up software remotely?

We can help install and configure legitimate software when the customer has the required license, account or installation rights. We do not provide pirated software, bypass license controls or install software without authorization. Compatibility, administrator permissions and vendor requirements may affect what can be completed. Software installation help.

Can you set up a new computer remotely?

Many new-computer tasks can be completed remotely after the computer is connected to the internet: Windows updates, browser setup, legitimate applications, email, printers, account preferences and basic security settings. Passwords and one-time codes should remain under the customer's control. New computer setup help.

Can BACKON help move files and settings to a new PC?

We can help plan and perform eligible data-migration steps for everyday files, browser data, email setup and applications. The old computer should normally remain untouched until the transferred data is verified. Large migrations, failed drives or specialized business systems may require a different service. New PC migration guide.

Printer & scanner help

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Why does my printer say offline even though it is turned on?

A printer can appear offline because the computer is pointing to an old printer connection, the Wi-Fi address changed, the print queue is stuck, Windows selected another default printer or the driver is not communicating correctly. These are common remote-troubleshooting cases. Printer offline guide.

Can BACKON help when my printer will not print?

Yes. We can work through the print path logically: whether the printer is ready, whether the computer can see it, whether jobs are stuck in the queue, whether the correct printer is selected and whether drivers or network communication are failing. Physical printer faults still need local service. Printer not printing guide.

Can you help connect a wireless printer to my computer?

Often. Wireless printer setup can involve the printer's Wi-Fi connection, the router, the Windows printer configuration and the manufacturer's driver or utility. If the printer has a functioning network connection and the computer is online, much of the computer-side setup can be handled remotely. Wireless printer connection help.

My printer stopped working after I changed my router. Can you help?

Yes, that is a common scenario. A new router may change the Wi-Fi network name, password, IP range or printer address. The printer may need to be reconnected to the new network and Windows may need its old printer connection replaced or updated. See printer support.

Can you clear a stuck print queue remotely?

In many cases, yes. Documents can remain stuck because of an application error, printer communication problem or Windows print-spooler issue. We can help review and clear the queue safely, then test whether the underlying connection is working before more documents are sent. Troubleshoot the print path.

Can BACKON help with scanner problems?

Yes. Common scan-to-computer problems can involve drivers, the manufacturer's scanning application, Windows permissions, network communication or selection of the wrong scanner. Multifunction printers and standalone scanners can often be diagnosed remotely if the hardware itself is functioning. Scanner troubleshooting guide.

Can you set up a new printer remotely?

We can help with the computer and software side of many printer installations, including driver installation, adding the printer in Windows, choosing a default printer, test printing and basic scanning setup. The customer may need to perform physical steps such as loading paper, connecting cables or using the printer's control panel. Remote printer support.

Do you repair broken printers or replace printer hardware?

No. BACKON's core service is remote technical support, not physical printer repair. Broken trays, damaged rollers, ink-system failures, paper-feed hardware faults, power problems and other mechanical issues may require the manufacturer or a local repair service. We can help identify when the problem appears to be physical. When local repair is better.

FAQ section 4 of 10

Wi-Fi, internet & network help

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Can BACKON help when Wi-Fi says connected but there is no internet?

Yes. A device can be connected to a router while internet access is still unavailable. The cause may be the computer, DNS settings, VPN software, router, modem or ISP. Remote troubleshooting can help separate a device-level issue from a wider outage. Connected but no internet guide.

Can you help if one computer will not connect to Wi-Fi but other devices work?

Yes. When other devices connect normally, the problem is often local to that computer: a saved network profile, wireless adapter, driver, VPN, security software or Windows network setting. That makes it a good candidate for remote troubleshooting. Computer won't connect to Wi-Fi.

Why does my Wi-Fi keep disconnecting?

Repeated Wi-Fi drops can come from weak signal, interference, power-saving settings, adapter drivers, router instability or an ISP problem. The first step is to determine whether one device or every device is dropping. That distinction helps decide whether remote computer support or the internet provider is the better route. Wi-Fi disconnecting guide.

Can BACKON help with slow internet?

We can help determine whether the slowdown appears to come from one computer, Wi-Fi signal, background downloads, browser activity, the router or the ISP. We cannot increase the speed purchased from your internet provider, but we can help isolate device-side causes. Slow internet troubleshooting.

Can BACKON configure my router remotely?

Some router and Wi-Fi configuration can be reviewed remotely when the customer is authorized to manage the network and can access the router interface. We avoid changing security-sensitive settings without a clear reason. ISP-managed equipment, locked routers or hardware faults may require the provider. Wi-Fi and network help.

Can you fix an internet service provider outage?

No. If the ISP has an outage, line fault or account/service problem, BACKON cannot repair the provider's network. We can help identify signs that the issue is outside your computer or local Wi-Fi and direct you to the ISP rather than continue unnecessary troubleshooting. Separate Wi-Fi from ISP issues.

Can you help with VPN-related connection problems?

We can review common device-level problems such as a VPN blocking normal browsing, stale network settings or conflicts with Windows connectivity. Corporate VPNs may be controlled by an employer's IT team, and we will not bypass company security controls or policies. Network support scope.

Can BACKON help with small-office Wi-Fi problems?

Yes, where the problem fits remote support. We can help isolate whether employee devices, printer connectivity, Windows settings or basic router configuration are involved. Larger managed networks, enterprise firewalls, structured cabling and onsite wireless surveys are outside the normal BACKON scope. Small-business remote IT help.

Email, Outlook & Microsoft 365

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Can BACKON help if email is not sending or receiving?

Yes. We can help separate sign-in problems, application configuration, sync issues, mailbox storage, offline status, browser problems and server/provider issues. If the email provider has an outage or account-security restriction, official provider support may be required. Email not working guide.

Can you help when Outlook is not receiving emails?

Yes. Outlook may stop receiving mail because it is offline, the account needs attention, synchronization is stuck, the mailbox is full, the profile is damaged or the provider is having a problem. We can review common client-side causes without pretending to be Microsoft. Outlook troubleshooting.

Can BACKON set up Outlook on a new computer?

Yes, if you have legitimate access to the email account and the required Microsoft license where applicable. We can guide the configuration while you enter your own password and verification codes. Some business accounts may require administrator approval from your organization. Email setup on a new computer.

Can you help with Microsoft 365 installation or sign-in problems?

Yes, many installation, update, sign-in and application configuration issues can be reviewed remotely. Subscription ownership, billing disputes, locked Microsoft accounts and tenant-level administration may need Microsoft or the organization's administrator. BACKON is independent and not Microsoft. Microsoft 365 help.

Do I need to tell the technician my email password?

No. You should normally enter passwords yourself. BACKON technicians should not ask you to disclose your email password, banking password, card PIN, CVV or one-time authentication code. If a sign-in is required during a session, you can type the credential while remaining in control. Password safety guide.

Can you help sync email across my computer and phone?

We can help review the computer-side configuration and explain common synchronization settings. Mobile-device steps may be guided where practical, but some account-provider, device-management or security restrictions may require the provider, employer or mobile-device administrator. Email and software support.

Can a full mailbox stop email from working?

Yes. Some email services stop receiving new messages or behave unpredictably when mailbox or cloud storage limits are reached. We can help identify storage-related symptoms and guide cleanup or provider options, but purchasing storage or changing subscription terms remains your decision. Email troubleshooting guide.

Does BACKON sell Microsoft 365 licenses or email accounts?

BACKON's core service is independent technical assistance, not representing itself as Microsoft or another provider. If a service requires a third-party license or subscription, the customer should purchase it from a legitimate source and retain ownership of the account. We can help with eligible setup and troubleshooting. Third-party brand disclosure.

Small-business tech support

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

What small-business technology problems can BACKON help with?

BACKON can help small businesses with eligible end-user issues involving Windows computers, printers, Wi-Fi, business email, Microsoft 365, browsers, legitimate software, new-device setup and recurring day-to-day troubleshooting. The focus is practical remote assistance rather than large enterprise infrastructure. Small-business tech support.

Can BACKON support home offices and sole traders?

Yes. Home offices and sole traders are a natural fit because many problems involve one or a few computers, printers, email accounts and Wi-Fi connections. Remote support can avoid unnecessary travel or store visits for issues that can be solved online. Remote IT help for small businesses.

Can you help set up a computer for a new employee?

Yes. We can assist with updates, legitimate applications, email, printers, browsers and basic user configuration when the business authorizes the work. The business remains responsible for account permissions, licenses, security policies and any organization-specific applications. New employee computer setup.

Can you help when an office printer stops working?

Yes. We can help troubleshoot common small-office printer problems such as one computer losing access, stuck queues, driver changes, Wi-Fi changes and printer discovery issues. Network-wide or hardware failures may require an onsite provider. Office printer troubleshooting.

Can BACKON help remote employees working from home?

Often. We can help with employee device, printer, Wi-Fi, browser, email and approved-software issues when the employer has authorized the support. We will not bypass an employer's security tools, access controls or IT policies. Corporate VPN or managed-device problems may need the company's IT administrator. Business remote support scope.

Does BACKON replace a managed service provider or full IT department?

Not necessarily. BACKON is designed for practical remote end-user support. A company that needs 24/7 monitoring, server management, enterprise networking, cybersecurity operations, onsite response or complex compliance management may need an MSP or internal IT team. BACKON can still be useful for eligible day-to-day issues. See where BACKON fits.

Can a business use BACKON for recurring support?

Potentially, yes, subject to an agreed service arrangement and availability. Recurring or ongoing support should have a clear scope, pricing and authorization rather than being assumed from a one-time session. Contact BACKON with the number of users, devices and common issues so suitability can be assessed. Request business support.

Who must authorize remote access to a business computer?

The person requesting support must have authority to permit access to that device and the relevant business systems. Employees should follow their employer's IT and security policies. BACKON may decline work if authorization is unclear or if the request appears to bypass organizational controls. Remote Access Policy.

FAQ section 7 of 10

Remote access, safety & privacy

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Is remote tech support safe?

Remote support can be appropriate when you know who you are dealing with, understand the service, authorize the connection, can see what is happening and can end the session. Never call a number from a frightening browser pop-up or let an unknown caller pressure you into access. Remote support safety guide.

Can I watch what the BACKON technician is doing?

Yes. A normal remote-support session should allow the customer to see the activity on the screen and remain involved. If sensitive information appears, you can say so and close or hide it. You should never feel pressured to leave the device unattended. How remote access works.

Can I disconnect the remote session whenever I want?

Yes. Customers should be able to terminate a normal remote-support session. If you are uncomfortable with any action, say so and stop the session. BACKON's support process is based on customer authorization, not hidden or forced access. Customer Support Safety.

Does BACKON use unattended remote access?

Unattended or persistent access is not something a customer should assume from a normal one-time support session. Any continuing-access arrangement would require a legitimate reason, clear authorization and an appropriate support arrangement. Customers can ask what remote tool is being used and whether anything remains installed. Remote Access Policy.

Will BACKON ask for my banking password, card PIN, CVV or one-time code?

No. Do not disclose banking passwords, card PINs, CVV/security codes or one-time authentication codes to a BACKON technician. Payment should occur through the stated payment process, not by handing over financial-account credentials. Read our payment and support safety guidance.

Should I give a remote technician my computer password?

Whenever possible, enter your own passwords. Some technical work may require an administrator prompt, but you can type the credential yourself. BACKON should not need to know your banking, email or other unrelated account passwords merely to troubleshoot a computer. Password safety guidance.

What should I do if a browser pop-up says my computer is infected and tells me to call a number?

Do not call the number in the pop-up, do not install remote-access software because the pop-up tells you to, and do not pay anyone who uses fear or urgency to pressure you. Close the browser or device safely and seek help through a provider you independently found and verified. Fake warning and browser redirect guide.

How does BACKON handle personal information?

BACKON aims to collect information reasonably needed to respond to support requests, deliver agreed services, process eligible payments, maintain records and meet legal obligations. Support access does not mean permission to browse unrelated personal files. See the Privacy Policy for categories, purposes, choices and contact information. Privacy Policy.

FAQ section 8 of 10

Pricing, payments, refunds & billing

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

Is it free to submit a BACKON support request?

Yes. Submitting the support form is a request for contact and assessment; it is not itself a purchase. If paid support is appropriate, the scope and price should be explained before paid work begins. Request support.

Will I know the price before paid work starts?

That is the intended process. BACKON should explain the proposed service scope and price before beginning paid work, subject to any clearly disclosed exceptions or follow-up work that you separately approve. You should not be surprised by an undisclosed support charge. Payment & Billing Policy.

What payment methods can BACKON accept?

Eligible BACKON transactions may use payment services such as PayPal or Skydo, subject to processor availability, eligibility and the payment option offered for that transaction. BACKON does not represent those processors as sponsors or endorsers. Payment options and billing policy.

Will BACKON ever ask me to pay with gift cards or cryptocurrency?

BACKON's published payment process should be followed. You should be suspicious of anyone claiming to be BACKON who demands gift cards, cryptocurrency, cash sent by courier or access to your online banking as the only way to pay. Verify unexpected payment instructions through BACKON's published website or email channel. Customer payment safety.

What happens if my problem cannot be fixed remotely?

Some issues turn out to require hardware repair, an ISP, manufacturer support or another specialist. The applicable charge or refund outcome depends on the service scope, what work was performed and the terms agreed for that case. BACKON should not promise that every technical problem can be resolved remotely. Refund Policy.

Does BACKON have a refund policy?

Yes. Refund eligibility depends on the specific service, the work performed, any digital or diagnostic work already delivered, the reason for the request and applicable consumer rights. The published policy explains how to request a review. Read the Refund Policy.

Will I receive a receipt or payment record?

Where a payment processor or invoice process is used, the customer should retain the payment confirmation and service correspondence. If you have a billing question, contact BACKON through the published support channel and include the relevant transaction or service details without sending sensitive card information. Billing information.

Does submitting a support request sign me up for a subscription?

No. A support request is not an automatic subscription. Any recurring plan, continuing service or recurring payment would need to be clearly offered and agreed rather than hidden inside a one-time request. Optional marketing consent is also separate from requesting technical support. Terms of Service.

FAQ section 9 of 10

Getting support & service process

Open a question for a concise answer. Follow the related link when you need step-by-step guidance or policy detail.

How do I request help from BACKON?

Use the secure support-request page and describe the problem in normal language. Include your device type, what you were trying to do, what changed, any visible error message and whether the issue affects one device or several. Do not put passwords, card details or one-time codes in the form. Request Support.

What information should I include in a computer support request?

Useful details include the computer or device type, operating system if known, the exact symptom, when it started, any recent update or equipment change, and what you have already tried. Screenshots of non-sensitive errors can sometimes help, but do not send private credentials or financial information. Computer help overview.

Do I need technical knowledge to use BACKON?

No. You can describe the problem in everyday language. BACKON's goal is to translate symptoms into a practical troubleshooting path rather than expect customers to know technical terminology. If we need a setting or error message, we can explain where to find it. How BACKON works.

How does a typical remote-support session work?

A typical process is: you request help, BACKON reviews whether the issue fits remote support, the scope and price are explained for paid work, you authorize any remote connection, troubleshooting is performed while you remain involved, and the session is ended when the agreed work is complete. See the support process.

Do I have to install remote-access software?

Only when remote-control access is actually needed and you agree to it. Some issues can be handled by guidance alone. If a remote tool is used, you should know what is being installed, why it is needed and whether it remains on the computer afterward. Remote Access Policy.

Can BACKON help by email instead of taking remote control?

Some questions can be handled through email guidance or an initial review without remote control. More complex troubleshooting may be faster with a customer-authorized remote session. The appropriate method depends on the issue and the information available. Tell us how you prefer to be contacted.

How quickly will BACKON respond?

Response time depends on operating hours, workload, the customer's country and the complexity of the request. BACKON should not promise an immediate response unless a specific service level has been agreed. For urgent safety or security concerns, disconnect suspicious access first and contact the appropriate official provider or local authority where necessary. Submit a support request.

What happens after the remote-support session ends?

You should know what was changed, whether any follow-up is recommended and whether remote software remains installed. If the issue could not be resolved remotely, the next step should be explained. You can also raise a billing, privacy or service complaint through the published channels. Complaints and escalation.

Will BACKON call me unexpectedly and say my computer has a problem?
