1. Agreement and service provider
These Terms apply when a customer requests, accepts or purchases BACKON services supplied by NV Venture. A customer may be a home user or a business. The specific service order, written quote, invoice or checkout description may add service-specific terms; if there is a conflict, mandatory law takes priority.
2. Independent third-party support
BACKON provides independent technology assistance. We are not the manufacturer or official support department for Microsoft, Apple, HP, Dell, Canon, Brother, Epson or another third party unless a genuine authorized relationship is expressly identified. We will not use manufacturer names, logos, caller ID or technical language to create false authority.
3. Services and scope
Services may include remote troubleshooting, setup, software assistance, printer/scanner support, Wi-Fi and device connectivity guidance, email/productivity support, security/privacy configuration and other agreed technology help. We may decline or stop work that requires physical repair, manufacturer warranty work, enterprise infrastructure administration, forensic incident response, regulated specialist work or on-site attendance.
4. Small-business support
Business customers must ensure that the person requesting support has authority to act for the business and to authorize work on the relevant device, account, software or network. BACKON’s standard small-business offering is practical end-user support; it is not automatically a managed-service, cybersecurity-monitoring, backup-management or administrator-of-record arrangement unless a separate written agreement says so.
5. Customer authorization and lawful use
You confirm that you own, control or are authorized to obtain support for the device, account and environment involved. You must not ask us to bypass access controls, obtain someone else’s credentials, defeat licensing restrictions, conduct unauthorized surveillance, install malicious software or perform unlawful activity.
6. Scope, price and material terms before payment
Before paid work begins, BACKON will identify the service being offered, the price or pricing basis, whether it is one-time or recurring, and material limitations that are known at that stage. You may ask questions before deciding to proceed. Unless a recurring service is clearly described and affirmatively accepted, a support purchase is treated as a one-time transaction.
7. Remote access
Remote access requires a separate authorization and is governed by the Remote Access Policy. A support request or payment does not itself authorize remote control. Customers should remain present where practical, close unrelated sensitive material, and may end a normal remote session at any time.
8. Credentials and sensitive information
BACKON technicians do not need your banking password, card PIN, crypto recovery phrase or unrelated one-time authentication codes. Where a password or code is needed for your own account, you should enter it yourself whenever practical. We may stop a session if continuing would expose unnecessary sensitive information.
9. Payment
Payment methods may include PayPal, Skydo or another clearly identified processor, depending on location and transaction type. A technician should never require you to move money to a “safe account,” buy gift cards, purchase cryptocurrency or reveal bank login credentials as a condition of technical support. See Payments & Billing.
10. Third-party software and services
Third-party software, subscriptions, warranties and licenses remain subject to the third party’s terms. BACKON cannot extend a manufacturer warranty or promise a third-party refund. If a recommended product involves a referral, reseller or other commercial relationship, that relationship should be disclosed where material.
11. Backups and customer responsibilities
Keep reasonable backups of important data and tell us about known hardware failure, malware, encryption, business-critical systems or recent data loss before work begins. Remote troubleshooting can involve configuration changes and software updates; while we take reasonable care, no remote-support provider can eliminate every risk arising from failing hardware, existing corruption, malware or third-party services.
12. No promise that every issue is remotely solvable
Some problems require physical inspection, replacement parts, an internet provider, an account provider or manufacturer service. We may recommend another route when remote support is not appropriate. A specific outcome, service level or resolution guarantee applies only when stated in writing for that service.
13. Cancellations and refunds
Refund and cancellation treatment depends on whether work has started, what was purchased and any mandatory consumer right. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes non-excludable rights.
14. Communications
Support communications about a request are separate from promotional marketing. Marketing email, SMS and telemarketing are handled under our Communications Policy, including opt-outs and internal suppression requests.
15. Acceptable conduct and safety
We may refuse or end service where there is a reasonable fraud, abuse, safety, legal or authorization concern. Customers must not use BACKON to access systems they are not authorized to control or to facilitate fraud, harassment, credential theft, evasion of security controls or other harmful conduct.
16. Consumer and business rights
Consumer transactions may carry mandatory rights based on country, state, province or territory. Business transactions can be governed differently. Nothing on this website is intended to waive rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive. See Consumer Rights.
17. Liability and service limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BACKON/NV Venture is not responsible for losses that are remote, indirect or caused by matters outside the agreed service and reasonable control, such as pre-existing hardware failure, third-party outages or customer actions. This does not exclude liability, statutory guarantees or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Governing framework and disputes
NV Venture operates from India. These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian law while preserving mandatory protections and jurisdictional rights that apply to customers in markets we serve. We encourage customers to use the Complaints Process first so the underlying support, payment and authorization records can be reviewed.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The date shown on this page identifies the current public version. Changes do not retroactively rewrite a completed service order where applicable law or the original agreement prevents that.
