BACKON provides remote technical support for home users and small businesses when a problem can reasonably be diagnosed or resolved without an onsite visit. Common requests include computer setup, software installation, browser problems, printer connectivity, email configuration, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting and basic device-security guidance.
Remote support is not the same as handing over your computer. You remain the customer and you remain in control. If remote-access software is appropriate, we explain the tool and ask for permission before connecting. You can watch the session and disconnect at any point.
Remote assistance is often useful when a computer still starts and can reach the internet, but something inside the operating system, software or configuration is not behaving as expected. We may also guide you through steps without taking remote control.
A failed hard drive, broken screen, damaged charging port, overheating caused by hardware, cabling work or other physical faults may require an onsite technician or repair center. ISP outages may need your internet provider. Warranty issues may need the manufacturer or authorized service network. BACKON will tell you when the problem appears to fall outside remote-support scope.
Before connecting, close online banking, password managers, private documents and other screens you do not want visible. Never disclose your bank password, card PIN, one-time authentication code or crypto-wallet recovery phrase to a support technician. BACKON does not need those credentials to troubleshoot normal technology problems.
No. BACKON’s operating policy requires customer authorization before a remote session begins.
Not always. Some problems can be handled with guided instructions. We will explain the proposed method.
No. Hardware failure, physical damage and some connectivity problems require onsite or manufacturer assistance.
No. BACKON is independent third-party support unless expressly stated otherwise.
Remote support should feel understandable. The connection exists to help with the approved task; it is not permission to explore unrelated parts of the device.
