Why we are comfortable saying where we operate
BACKON is a consumer technology brand operated by NV Venture, a GST-registered business in India. The business is designed to serve customers remotely in the United States, Canada and Australia where the requested service is suitable and available.
We do not want to build trust by hiding geography. We want to build it by clearly identifying the business, setting expectations, documenting the service and giving the customer control of the support session.
India is a mature global technology-services environment
India has spent decades supporting international technology, software, operations and service businesses. That creates a deep pool of technical talent, English-language support experience and familiarity with remote delivery. BACKON can use that environment as it builds and trains a support team around its own customer-service standards.
Remote delivery reduces location-dependent overhead
A technician does not need to drive to a customer’s home to change a software setting, troubleshoot email or help configure a printer. Operating remotely can reduce the cost and scheduling friction associated with travel and retail premises for eligible issues.
That creates room to price support around the work being performed instead of trying to recover unnecessary logistics costs. It does not mean BACKON should compete by being the cheapest service available.
Access to the right technician matters more than distance
In a local-only model, the customer is limited to whoever is physically nearby. A remote-first model can eventually route a printer issue to someone comfortable with printer troubleshooting, a Windows problem to a Windows-focused technician, or an email/software issue to the right support skill — without requiring that person to live in the customer’s city.
Time-zone flexibility can help service coverage
Operating from India creates the ability to design shifts that overlap with North American and Australian customer hours. BACKON will only advertise specific availability once those hours are genuinely staffed, but the operating location gives the team flexibility as it grows.
What “better value” means to us
Better value does not mean cutting corners. We want it to mean:
- the customer can describe the problem before paying;
- the team can assess whether remote help is appropriate;
- the service and price are explained before work starts;
- the customer does not pay for unnecessary travel or store handling when the problem can be handled remotely;
- remote access is permission-based;
- the customer is told when the issue needs local physical repair instead.
What we will not do to appear “local”
- We will not claim a U.S., Canadian or Australian office unless one genuinely exists.
- We will not describe BACKON as a manufacturer’s official support service unless that status is actually approved.
- A future local telephone number will be presented as a convenient customer-contact number, not proof of a physical local office.
A founder-led team with experience dating back to 2014
The culture behind BACKON is shaped by hands-on technical-support experience dating back to 2014, including work around computers, software and everyday peripherals. The public brand is deliberately team-led: we want the customer experience to become a repeatable standard that can be delivered by trained people as BACKON grows.
