Security support should reduce uncertainty, not manufacture panic. BACKON can help home users and small businesses with common device-security and privacy tasks while explaining what we can verify, what we cannot verify remotely and when a specialist is the better choice.
We will not invent a virus result, claim that routine system events prove a computer is hacked, impersonate a software vendor, take control of banking, ask you to move money to a “safe” account, or pressure you to pay with gift cards or cryptocurrency.
If BACKON recommends a third-party product, we explain what it is for and whether it is optional. Any material reseller/referral/affiliate relationship is disclosed where relevant. A software sale is not disguised as a mandatory repair step.
Suspected business compromise, ransomware, significant data breach, regulated data exposure, forensic investigation or enterprise incident response may need a specialist cybersecurity provider and legal/insurance escalation. BACKON will not present ordinary remote troubleshooting as a substitute for those services.
